GUEST QUESTIONS

What time should I arrive?

Proper wedding etiquette is that all guests arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.

Where should I park?

Kaya has plenty of parking, including a parking attendant who will greet you at our double gate and direct you to the nearest parking spot.

Will I have to pay for parking?

No, parking is provided free of charge.

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Proper wedding etiquette is to avoid the color white unless directed otherwise by the contracted couple.

Are kids welcome?

We leave this decision up to the contracted couple. The couple’s wedding website is a great place to check for event specific information like this.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Kaya Vineyard and Winery is excited to announce we have four onsite craftsmen cottages, all fully furnished, along with our newest addition - the Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard. Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard is less than a mile from Kaya with a variety of lodging and spa options. Request information on our shuttle service to safely travel between the two properties. Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Kaya is a wheelchair accessible facility.

What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?

The wedding couple has you covered - enjoy a mingle friendly cocktail hour after the ceremony to get your stomach ready for a full dinner.

Will food be served?

Yes, take advantage of a full cocktail hour and dinner reception.

Can I take pictures?

Absolutely! We would love for you to tag us on your social media accounts with #KayaVineyardsWeddings.

What is the venue's capacity?

Kaya Vineyard and Winery can host an event up to 200 guests.

Do you have a Wedding Planner?

Yes! Our Wedding Planner is available for unlimited phone call and email appointments, three in-person planning appointments, a day prior rehearsal walk-through, and the execution of your big day.

Do you allow outside vendors?

Yes, for everything but catering.

Do you allow outside catering?

Kaya is honored to provide our own catering service for all contracted events.

Who do I contact to set up a tour?

Our Event Manager, Haylee, would love to send you some basic pricing and tour information. Please use the contact listed below to send her some days and times that work best for you to tour our property.

What will I receive at the tour?

At the tour, we will prepare you a customized pricing estimate, sales brochure, and menu packet. That way you can gain a full understanding of what we have to offer you as a venue and leave with all your questions answered.
